1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ECOMISAAC LLC, doing business as ARICDEALS ("Aric Deals", "we", "us", "our"), the company that operates the website at https://aricdeals.com (the "Site") and sells the furniture offered on it.

By visiting the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.

These Terms should be read together with our other posted policies, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy. Those policies form part of your agreement with us.

In these Terms, "you" means the person using the Site or buying from us. "Products" means the physical furniture we sell — modular couches, sofa beds, chairs and similar items.

2. Eligibility

To buy from us, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old, or be old enough to use the Site with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf;
  • have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and
  • use a payment method you are authorised to use.

If you are a parent or guardian allowing a minor to use the Site, you are responsible for their activity and for any orders placed.

3. Products, Descriptions and Images

  • Images are representative. Fabric colours can vary slightly between screens and between production batches. Room-setting photographs show the product in use; other furniture, décor and accessories in them are not included.
  • Dimensions are approximate. Measurements on the product page are typical for the item and may vary by a small amount. Please check doorways, stairs and lifts against them before ordering.
  • Compressed packaging. Cushions and foam are vacuum packed for shipping and need 24–48 hours to expand fully after unpacking.
  • Setup. Some items use connectors or pre-attached velcro to join modules, and base feet that twist on by hand. No tools are required unless the product page says otherwise.
  • Weight limits. Stated weight capacities are maximums for normal seated use and are not a guarantee against damage from misuse.

4. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content — including our product descriptions, marketing copy, photography, page design, name, logo and branding ("Aric Deals") — are our property or are licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not copy, scrape or reuse them without our written permission. Buying a product does not give you any rights in our content or brands.

5. Orders, Pricing, Taxes and Refunds

All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). The price shown on the product page and at checkout when you order is always the one that applies to your order. Where a "compare at" or list price is shown alongside the selling price, the selling price is what you pay.

  • We may change prices, add or remove products, and run or end promotions at any time. Later price changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
  • Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it and dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example if an item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud — and if we do we will refund anything you have paid.
  • Pricing and description errors. Occasionally a product may be listed at an obviously incorrect price or with an obviously incorrect description. If this happens, we may cancel or correct the affected order, even after it is confirmed. If we cancel, we will refund what you paid in full and let you know by email. We will not use this clause to escape an ordinary promotional price you legitimately took advantage of.
  • Taxes. Any sales tax or similar tax that applies is calculated and shown at checkout where we are required to collect it. If you buy from outside the United States, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes or charges imposed where you live that we do not collect.
  • If your bank or card issuer applies a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee, that fee is between you and them.

Refunds and returns

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with a purchase, email support@aricdeals.com within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a return and refund to your original payment method. Our Refund Policy has the full details, including who pays return shipping and what to do if an item arrives damaged. Nothing in these Terms takes away refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

6. Delivery

Every product is a physical item that we pack and ship to the delivery address you give at checkout. Shipping within the United States is free; for other destinations we serve, shipping costs and delivery options are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Our Shipping Policy has the details.

  • You are responsible for giving an accurate delivery address and an address where the goods can be received. If a delivery fails or is returned to us because the address was wrong or nobody could receive it, we may charge the cost of re-delivery.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect items on arrival and tell us within a reasonable time if anything is damaged or wrong — photographs help.
  • Large items may ship in more than one box and the boxes may arrive on different days.
  • Delivery estimates are estimates. We will keep you informed if there is a significant delay, but we are not liable for delays caused by carriers or events beyond our reasonable control.

7. One-Time Purchases Only — No Subscriptions

Every purchase on this Site is a single, one-time charge. You pay once. That is the whole transaction.

We do not offer, and you are not signing up for, any subscription or membership, any recurring, repeating or instalment billing, any trial that converts into a paid plan, or any automatic renewal of any kind. We will never charge your payment method again on our own initiative. The only way you are charged again is if you come back and deliberately place a new order.

If you ever see a charge from us that you did not deliberately make, email support@aricdeals.com immediately and we will investigate and refund anything that should not have been charged.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to do any of the following:

  • Break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download content from the Site using automated tools, or otherwise copy the Site's content systematically.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Site, or circumvent any technical or access-control measure we use.
  • Interfere with the Site's operation — for example through denial-of-service attempts, malware, injection attacks, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data.
  • Use stolen, unauthorised or fraudulent payment details, or impersonate someone else.
  • Place orders in bad faith — for example, ordering with the intention of keeping the goods and then reversing the payment.
  • Abuse the chargeback process. If you have a problem with an order, please email us first. Our 30-day money-back guarantee usually makes a refund faster and simpler than a dispute. Raising a chargeback in bad faith — for an order you received, kept and are not entitled to reverse — is a breach of these Terms, and we may respond by providing our order and delivery records to the payment provider and declining future orders from you. Nothing in these Terms removes your legal right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, including for genuine fraud or an unauthorised transaction; we simply ask you to contact us first so we can fix the problem directly.
  • Harass, threaten or abuse our staff or anyone else.

9. Third-Party Services, Links and Payment Processors

Our Site runs on Shopify, and payments are handled by Shopify Payments and other third-party processors including PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Deliveries are made by third-party carriers.

When you pay, your card or account details go directly to the processor you chose. We never receive or store your full card number. Your use of a payment service is also governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for how they operate.

The Site may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not control them, we do not endorse them simply by linking, and we are not responsible for their content, products, security or practices.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement in relation to the Site, and we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.

Our products are sold for ordinary domestic use. Nothing on the Site is professional advice of any kind. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you. Nothing here is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be limited — including your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose — and this section does not affect our 30-day money-back guarantee, which we honour as stated.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Aric Deals, and its owners, members, employees and suppliers, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the Site or our products — even if we were told such damages were possible.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site or any product, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), warranty, statute or otherwise, is limited to the total amount you actually paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, or limits on implied warranties. If you live in such a jurisdiction, some or all of the above may not apply to you, and our liability will be limited to the smallest extent permitted by the law that applies. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Aric Deals and its owners, members, employees and agents from any third-party claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, your violation of any law or of anyone else's rights, or content or information you submit to us.

This obligation applies only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, and it does not cover anything caused by our own breach of these Terms, our negligence or our wrongful conduct. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section requires more of you than consumer law where you live allows. We may take over the defence and conduct of any matter covered by this section, and you agree to cooperate with us if we do. We will not settle such a matter in a way that imposes an obligation or admission on you without your consent.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, cancel pending orders, and refuse future orders if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms — for example by using fraudulent payment details, attacking or scraping the Site, or abusing the chargeback or refund process. Where the circumstances reasonably allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to explain. If we cancel an order you paid for and you have not breached these Terms, we will refund you.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 16 — remain in effect afterwards.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

Talk to us first

Most problems are solved with an email. Before starting any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us first at support@aricdeals.com with a short description of the issue and what you would like us to do about it. We agree to do the same before bringing a claim against you. Both sides then have 30 days from that first email to try to resolve the matter informally and in good faith. Only if it is still unresolved after 30 days may either side proceed formally.

Governing law and venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree that any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and both sides consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

If you are a consumer living outside Illinois or outside the United States, mandatory consumer-protection laws where you live may give you rights and access to local courts that this section cannot take away, and nothing here is intended to deprive you of them.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example if we change how the store works, add products, or need to reflect a change in the law. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Where the change is significant and materially affects your rights, we will make a reasonable effort to give clearer notice. Changes apply going forward only: the version of these Terms in effect when you placed an order governs that order. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

16. General

  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest stays in full force.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our other posted policies (such as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy), are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and our products, and replace any earlier understandings on that subject.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it. A waiver only counts if we give it in writing, and it applies only to the specific instance.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
  • Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, outages at our hosting or payment providers, natural disasters or acts of government.
